Stir Fried Green Beans with Miso ( 味噌醬炒青豆 )

Ingredients
  

  • 590 g green beans
  • 50 g carrots
  • 125 g lily bulb
  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 3 slices ginger
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions
 

  • Wash green beans and cut both ends.
  • Peel off the skin of garlic and carrots. Cut both into slices
  • Add sugar and 2 tbsp of water to miso and stir them evenly.
  • Separate the lily bulb into slices and wash them.
  • Boil green beans with water for about 30 seconds and let them dry,
  • Add 1 tbsp of oil. Fry miso, garlic and ginger on medium heat. Then add carrots, green beans and 2 tbsp of water, fry evenly. Put the lid on for about 2 minutes.
  • When green beans become soft, add the lily bulbs and a bit of salt then put the lid on for about 1 minute. Serve.

Notes

1.The lily bulb is easily cooked therefore add it in at the end
