Simple Glutinous Rice Ball (簡易湯丸) 一家團圓

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Glutinous Rice Ball
  • 10 g ginger slices
  • 110g cane sugar
  • 4 cups water

Instructions
 

  • First, use a knife to crush the cane sugar to allow it to easily melt.
  • Next, boil 3 cups of water, then add ginger and cane sugar on low heat until the cane sugar is melted.
  • Then, add rice balls and switch to high heat. Add one more cup of water after it boils. Later, turn on medium heat after boiling. Once the rice balls float, the dessert is cooked and ready.

Notes

1.When the rice balls float, it means it is cooked.
2.To avoid the rice balls sticking to the pot, you have to stir occasionally
