First, we have to wash the mackerel thoroughly. Use a knife to take away the black membrane inside. Use the paper towel to dry it. In order for the sauce to sink into the mackerel, make three cuts on top using a knife
Pour 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Put the garlic in.
Turn on slow heat until the garlic aroma flavours come out. Put aside the garlic
Turn to medium heat and put the mackerel onto wok.
Sprinkle black pepper, fry both sides of the fish and add lemon.
When the mackerel is golden brown, then add soy sauce, mirin and garlic.
Turn off the heat and place the fish on the plate.
Lastly, pour all the sauce from the wok on the fish.
