OMG a colourful recipe ??? I don’t know about you ,but I love pork neck. It has this great chewy texture and keeps me wanting more. This is a simple way to help get your greens in, but topping it with something delicious! Hope you like it !
INGREDIENTS:
- 400g brussels sprouts
- ½ bell red peppe
- 200g pork neck meat
- 1 shallot
- 1 clove of garlic
- 3 slices ginger
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- ½ tsp chili bean sauce
Marinade for pork neck meat:
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- ½ tsp sugar
- 1 tsp oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
First, cut and remove the end portion of brussels sprouts. Peel off the outer layer and wash. Cut them in half.
Remove the core of red pepper and cut them into strips.
Wash pork neck meat. Dry them thoroughly and cut into slices. Marinade them for about 20 minutes.
Peel off the skin of shallots and garlic. Cut them into slices.
Put 2 cups of water into the wok. Add 1 tbsp of sugar after the water boils. Turn off heat and immerse the brussels sprouts for about 3 minutes. Pour off the water and let them dry.
Put 1 tsp of oil in the wok on medium-high heat. Fry shallots, garlic and ginger. Put the pork neck meat and fry each slice.
Add oyster sauce and chili bean sauce, fry them evenly and then add red pepper, brussels sprouts and 2 tbsp of water. Put the lid on for about 1 minute and Serve.
TIPS
- Wash the outer layer of the brussels sprouts and use it for vegetable soup like borscht.
