You’re in for a surprise ! Well sort of … with the taste. It’s a great minimal recipe to add to your regular dinner table when you see these ingredients in the fridge !
INGREDIENTS:
- 378g choy sum
- 500g frozen basa fillet
- 10g goji berries
- 200 ml chicken broth
Marinade for fish fillet :
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp ginger juice
- ½ egg white
- 1 tbsp oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Wash and remove the flower part of the choy sum. Let them dry.
Defrost and wash the fish fillet. Dry the fish fillet with a paper towel thoroughly. Cut the fillet into thick slices and marinate for about half an hour.
Wash the goji berries
Put the chicken broth and ginger in the wok on high heat. After boiling, add choy sum for about one minute. Then put them on the dish and keep the remaining soup.
Use ½ tsp of oil to fry the both sides of each fish fillet on medium heat.
Add goji berries and remaining soup and stick both sides of the fish fillet. Put them on the top of the choy sum. Serve.
TIPS
- Since the fish is frozen, we have to dry the fish fillet thoroughly and fry them on high heat.
