Another healthy recipe this week ! Prawn with Angelic Soup is perfect for the winter weather. This soup is designed to regulate your blood circulation so you can stay warm all winter. If you’re one or you know one who experiences bad cramps…try this recipe !
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 slices angelica
- 4 slices astragalus
- 15 red dates
- 15g ginger (slices)
- 2.5 liters water
- 380g prawn (with head)
- 120g shrimp shell
- 15g goji berries
- 2 tbsp + half cup yellow rice wine
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cutaway shrimp tentacles and remove the intestines from the prawns. Clean and wash the prawns and dry them up. Separate the head and the body of the prawns by cutting them and reserve them for future use.
Wash and clean the shrimp shell and dry them out. Of course you should not waste shrimp just for their shell so, go try our Shrimp and Egg Stir Fry Recipe!
Wash the red dates and remove the core.
Wash the angelica and the astragalus. Cut them short.
Fry the head of the prawns and shells with low heat until they are dry. Make sure to crush the prawns’ heads when frying. Then add 2 tbsp of yellow rice wine and fry evenly. Turn off heat.
Put the angelica, astragalus, red dates, ginger, the head and shells of prawns after the water boils. Turn to low heat for about 45 minutes after boiling again.
Remove all the ingredients and turn to medium heat. Add shrimp body and goji berries, boil it for about 2 minutes.
Add half cup of yellow rice wine. Turn off heat after boiling. Do a taste test and add the salt. Serve.
